Federal Housing Stimulus Program
Up to $8,000 federal tax credit, just extended
This is your big chance to build just the Pulte home that you want.
The federal government has just expanded (and extended) the homebuyer tax credit. This is great news if you are a current homeowner or a first-time buyer!
At Pulte, we can help answer your questions about the expanded, extended tax credit.
Am I eligible?
First-time homebuyers are still eligible for the federal tax credit. (First-time buyers are defined as anyone who has not owned a home in the past three years.) And now, current homeowners are eligible as well, provided you have lived in your current home for at least five years.
Am I entitled to the full $8,000 credit?
First-time homebuyers are eligible for up to $8,000. Current homeowners are eligible for up to $6,500. Although the income limitation for first-time homebuyers was just increased, there are income limits and other eligibility requirements. Visit federalhousingtaxcredit.com for more details.
Are there any other limitations?
Yes. For example, to qualify for either credit, the price of the home being purchased cannot exceed $800,000. Visit federalhousingtaxcredit.com to learn more.
How long is the program extended?
You must contract on your new home by April 30, 2010, and must close on the purchase by June 30, 2010.
That means time is of the essence. Build the Pulte home that you want, where you want, with the personal touches that suit your family.
Start now to complete your home in time to qualify for this tremendous opportunity!
